Library literacy - Making the most of your community library

Gone are the days of keeping quiet between the shelves! Take a fresh look at what libraries have to offer with a tour which lets you experience the online catalogue, the self issue desk and gets you familiar with the library layout. Participation will be interactive with station based activities and a quiz.

Citizenship - Me and my class

A technology taster using inspiration to assist your students in brainstorming what it takes to be a good class and/or school citizen. Develop these ideas further by booking a class visit and make deeper connections by looking at citizenship within the wider community.

For the love of reading

Learn how to use the library catalogue to discover what’s on offer across the library network. Then experience the world of books on line – you can find both old and new authors, learn about books that have become movies and read the latest book blogs.
