Gamezone - School's Out! Game on!

Explore the exciting, educational and entertaining online games available on the internet. Play alone or collaborate with friends, aged 8-13 years. A tutor will be in attendance to supervise and assist if necessary. Bring your own headphones and enjoy! Limited to 25 places. Bookings essential.

Due to the closure of South Library (and learning centre), Gamezone is currently operating from Upper Riccarton learning centre and will return to South when it is reopened.

When : Starts week 2 of every team
Friday's 4.00 - 5.00pm (as of term 4)
Cost : $15 per term

By far the most popular game during the Gamezone sessions has been "Minecraft" which is a great collaborative virtual world full of great educational potential. Watch the video below to see how engaged the students are with this game. Loads of fun!
