School Programmes at South Learning Centre

South Learning Centre is now open after the February 22 earthquake.  We have our computer suite with 31 computers ready to try and accommodate your needs where possible.


We are working on a range of options to support our Christchurch schools through this time of upheaval.  We are able to provide programmes here at the learning centre for groups of students, and are planning some outreach options to come and support learning in your schools.

The Learning Centre newsletter, includes some great updates and photos from holiday programmes, specialised class sessions and Horizons programmes.

After school programmes

The Learning Centres offer after school programmes where students, aged 10 to 14, can have fun developing their Information and Communication Technology (ICT) skills.


Students can experience a different subject each term where they learn new ICT skills such as digital photography, animation using PowerPoint, recording original music, Paintshop Pro and MovieMaking.


After school programmes include Girls Zone and the Workshop Club.
